Maintenance

 

Daily Inspection:              

                                          

·      Clean upholstery pads on the equipment.

·      Inspect pads for any wear.

·      Clean and inspect equipment frame.

·      Check warning and instruction label.

·      Inspect all fasteners, cables and connection.

 

       Clean upholstery pads on the equipment:

To remove surface dirt and perspiration, clean upholstery daily with a mild soap and water solution in a spray bottle. Spray upholstered surfaces                    lightly and wipe dry with a clean cloth.

 

        Inspect pads for any wear:

Inspect pads for cracks in the upholstery, broken and loose stitching, loose staples, and loose mounting bolts. Replace pads as needed

 

        Clean and inspect equipment frame.

To remove grease and dirt, clean frames daily with a mild soap and water solution in a spray bottle. Wipe the equipment down with a damp cloth        and dry completely. Be sure to wipe down both painted parts and chrome or plated parts. To restore and maintain the luster of chrome parts, use commercial chrome cleaner. As you clean, inspect the frames for cracks, rust, or other damage. Make sure welds are solid and fasteners are properly secured.

 

Check warning and instructional labels.

Inspect warning and instructional labels daily to make sure that all the information can be clearly read. If any portion is not visible or part of the label is not adhered properly, replace that label immediately

 

Inspect all fasteners, cables and connection

It is important to check fasteners as it comes loose with normal use. Make sure all your screws; washers, nuts, and any other fasteners are tight and installed correctly. Look for any sign of wear, kinks, frays in cables. If found, replace immediately to prevent possible injury to users.

 

Weekly Inspection:

 

    ·      Inspect and Lubricate bearings and bushings

    ·      Check and lubricate the seat adjustment mechanism

    ·      Clean and lubricate guide rods, each weight stack and selector pin.

    ·      Inspect Pulleys

 

Inspect and Lubricate bearings and bushings

Inspect bushings for excessive wear and damage. Failure to do so can cause damagae to the moving parts.

 

Check and lubricate the seat adjustment mechanism

Seat safety is important to the safety of a workout; you should check the seat adjustment regularly to see if it sticks when used. To test if the seat lever needs lubrication, elevate the seat slightly while pressing and releasing the lever. The lever should snap back out easily. If the lever sticks, lubricate its pivot pin with lubricating spray. Wipe off any excess lubricant with a cloth.

 

Clean and lubricate guide rods, each weight stack and selector pin.

Wipe out build up dirt and grease from the guide rod and individual weight stack using dry cloth. Ensure selector pin on place.

 

Inspect Pulley

 

We use precision ball bearing idler pulleys to guide the cable smoothly. Inspect for any signs cracks, chip or missing section. Inspect if the pulley excessively plays side to side. To avoid further damage to your cable, replace entire pulley if necessary.

 

 

 

Monthly Inspection:

 

     ·      Inspect visible welds, frame, and cable connections.

     ·      Inspect upholstery and pads for excessive wear.

     ·      Wipe down unit.

Inspect to see if there is any visible damages, precassive measures will help to pretend futher and serious damage to machine and the user too.

 

Inscpect upholstery and pads for excessive wear.

 

Make sure that there are no tears in the pads, especially along the edges. Also check the slipcovers in the high wear areas and see if they need replacing.

 

 

Wipe down unit

Sweat is corrosive – make sure to wipe down the machine  with clean soap and water and then dry completely to avoid rust.
